Midnight Journey

This is an animated short film about a boy who wakes up from a nightmare in the middle of the night and then suddenly realizes the need to go to the bathroom. However, the bathroom is located at the other end of the house and to get there, he must pass through a dark area where creatures of different sort reside. He hesitates for a moment but his urge to pee is really strong. He gathers his courage, steps outside his room and prepares to run as fast as he could; hoping to avoid encounter with unknown creatures. But will he be able to reach his destination?

This is a project where I first explored digital animation using the software ToonBoom Harmony

For the production logo design, I made 20 versions before finally settling for a final design

The father can only be seen in very few scenes

I find this character the most complicated compared to the others because of how detailed its mouth is

I had weird inspirations for this character because I like watching videos and movies while doodling
